i was on my back from my girls house around 2am when this 95-97 VW jetta pulls next to me. So i decided to mess with him so i hit it, he downshifts and pulls next to me. We hit about 95 then i layed back cause i saw a cop up ahead. Then after gettin off the Long Island Expressway at Deer Park Ave, he signals for me to follow him on the Northeern State Parkway east. I said fu*k it and followed him on. I dont know why but i guess he was saving what ever he had under the hood for the highway, cause we lined up goin about 40 and went at it again. I guess he was a sleeper cause this kid was gone before i knew it. The thing looked stock except for the drop and exhaust. Im telling you though its like he hit the NOS button and was gone... I had my car pinned and had no chance. Oh well ill just go out and beat an SI or integra to get my confidence back.

Probably a vr6 5sp. They run....I THINK....low 7's to 60. The latest GTI(lighter) runs high 6's. You have an auto so you're around 7.5-high 7's to 60. I'm sure your CAI is canceled out by your wheels. Those sound HEAVY and should kill the 5-10hp you added with the cai.

300lbs is a lot........I am also not very believing that the intake will help.....Maybe the moded ram air box will be better than the cone style intakes. The y-pipe on the otehr hand is frakin amazing.....you'll have a grin on your face everytime you bury ur right foot The y mod+ airbox should help get u slightly better than stock considering your added w8.
