MY Clear bumper lenses are poping out
The same thing happened to me,
Don't worry about running them over the wire does not reach that far.You probably are missing one of the conector pieces. There are the 2 center reflectors that you just screw in and then there are the 2 side reflecters this is probably were you are having your problem check to see if your missing a plastic conector piece. There are 2 per reflector one goes on the refector the other one sits in the bumper, your are supposet to plug them in together but I suspect you are missing one of those pieces. My solution to this problem was if it is indeed that is the problem to use some epoxy glue and rub it on were the two pieces are supposed to connect.{I probobly just confused the hell out of you but, read what i said carefully and give it a shot, good luck}.

It's from Cheston's site. Washers are used to help hold
lights place. You'll have to stick your hand behind the
bumper to do some tightening. Hope this helps.

mine didnt fit either
i made the connectert hing fatter by putting mounds of electric tape around the tip... it made it fit better... i tried the washer thing.. but it didnt work for me.. prolly cuz it was like 1 am.. and i couldnt see much
Use a 10mm deep socket and the plug part will screw right off. Then get your hand behind and screw it back on. Look at http://www.maximadriver.com
use screw
i took the little metal connector off... went to the hardware store and baught screws that mached the thread but were long enough to reach teh clear corner.. used a washer too...i did this cause the existing metal thingie i was not able to get it to screw in from behind the bumper panel (i think the little hole was big enough to let it pass through
they are on very tight.... should also keep those pesky zoo koalas from prying them off
