Slammed Into Curb ::PICS::

It was raining yesterday and I took a wide turn at 40 mph and the car just hydroplained right into the curb.

That sucks. Everybody OK I assume?

Are you going to do the repairs yourself? Looks like a good time for some aftermarket wheels.

Yep, my dad is doing all the work for me, should be running again by this week, I found the part for $35 on www.car-part.com, then i need an alignment.

Everyone was ok, luckily we missed the on coming truck, that would have been a sad sad day

why were you corning 40mph? do u have any suspension mod? wat kinda tires are u running? i'm not tryin to be offensive here but i just hope that u'll know your car's limit better so u won't get into somethin like this again...

Yeah, my lesson is learned here, I have sprint springs/KYB AGX, Factory Toyo tires which have close to 1% tread remaining. New rims and tires are coming soon.

pick up a FSTB from ebay for quick suspension aid, then of course the RSB

Sorry to hear about the accident - and glad you're ok . . but if you drive on tires like that in the rain, you MUST go extremely slow. Once you get some new tires it should feel like a whole new car, riding on bald tires suck.

Fixed!!!!!!!

Well I ordered the control arm yesterday, it arrived and was installed today, new SE rim, also put in new y-pipe gaskets, and now im awaiting an alignment.

It feels great to have my car back!

is it just me, or is the bottum of that car filthy? looks like it's been sitting at the bottum of the ocean for a few years. is that dirt and stuff from after you hit the curb or ?
