fed spec maxima vs. ca spec maxima

besides the O2 sensor's location, what are the differences between the two? does the fed spec maxima go faster at stock than ca spec maxima? if so, is it because CA spec has harder emission? correct me if i'm wrong...just curious about the 2 types that's all.

fed spec - 2 cat converters, cali spec - 3... slightly more exhaust flow with a fed spec & tougher emissions on a cali spec. thats all i know

The CA spec is made for CA emmissions so it would have an easier time than the fed spec. If your cat is working and your tune up is up to date you should be fine.

cali spec maximas also have swirl control valves inside the lower intake manifold. they help with combustion efficiency, but it cuts down total air flow volume.

EDIT: cali spec maximas have 4 O2 sensors also.

Too little difference between the two, supposedly a Fed spec has a couple more HP
