I have some time on my hand this weekend and since winter is coming to an end i wanted to polish/wax my car...does anybody know what is the best brand for this stuff, i am not to familiar with this cuz i never did this b4. please let me know what works the best to give more shine to the color and what is the best way to do it. I have 95 gle gold color.thanx in advance

 

Rain-X wax works suprisingly good, Zimol makes a great shine but highlights scratchs and chips

 

It's not a brand it's an ingredient in the wax, and everyone says it's the best (including body shops). I have "the lazy man's wax" i got from an auto show, it's caranuba and suppose to be really easy/good wax. Meguairs (spelling is terrible) is suppose to be good also.

First wash and dry your car then use a Clay bar and clean all the elements{acids} or water spots you may have. Next use Maguirs paint cleaner then use meguirs paint polish and to finish the job off right, use Zimol wax. This is a tedius process and will take about 10+ hours to do the whole car right but the results are priceless.

What is this? Never even heard of it. Can i grab one at VIP?
Does this get rid of all the water spots and stuff that always manage to show up after you wash/dry even though you dry for 20 minutes? If so, i need this!
Isnt it a bit early to do the sumer wax? We still have spring left, which will leave your car nice and dirty...
