Hi,

Yesterday, I drove into a carwash with my radio on and that comlpetely broke my car's antenna. It's still hanging out (although) I have squeezed in as much as I could.

Can I cut it out right now using a strong wire cutter, 'cause it looks real bad?

1. Where do I get such an power (auto) antenna (other than the dealers)?
2. Can I replace it with a strong parmanently extended kinda antenna?
3. What do you suggest?

P.S. I have the 1999 maxima

Regards,
SP

you can just get a new antenna shaft from your local dealer. since the motor should be good...take the mast off w/ antenna tool or tool of choice, then turn radio on and the antenna w/ the plastic inside should come out. take note what side has the teeth/gear from the plastic rope..take new antenna feed it in and turn radio off.
