LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION RESALE RESALE RESALE

Let's get real. JD Power 2/5 for quality on 2k4. Turn up the radio and ignore. :-)

toot your own horn and give a major thumbs up! Most 1st time Max owners are well-to-do thanks to papa, and mama. That 1700 dealer profit is lost as soon as you turn the key on the dealer's lot and that MSO turns into a title.

I will keep the car for about5 years...I could have bought a BMW/Mercedes/Accura ...I chose the Maxima for reasons previously explained.... Its the best car for the price.Period

That's why I'll never buy a new Nissan, but I will buy a new Honda.

I agree with both of you . I saw the new TL up close today. It looks sweet ! I would rank the new 6th gen Max as a waste of money , compared to the other cars you can get in the same price range. I would still get a G35 , it blows the new Max away in every category, and you deal with Infiniti !

Yeah, no doubt the 6th gen is as you say a waste of money. And I think it looks fine from the side, but really ugly from the front. Anybody who bought one, as long as they are happy with their purchase, that's the most important thing. Not everyone cares about getting the best car, or best quality, or best handling, etc. Some people just want to buy a car and be done with it. They often get a new car in 39 months so it's not that important. The flip side is if people who are in the business to review automobiles rank it 12 out of 12, 2/5 in quality, well, those are things that people should consider before buying. I mean, really, you buy a car with poor resale, you don't complain when that car is 4 figures 5 years later ($9000), or JD Power says 2/5 in quality, you don't complain about rattles etc. These were things that were known before the purchase.

Honda is not a great car, but it's a good conservative car. I don't necessarily like them myself, but it's common knowledge that their resale is phenomenal. These are hard numbers--just because people hate Honda doesn't change the resale value even $0.01!
