Some kid with few bucks and an eye for the potential?
The buyer was a young couple (I mean, like, 19 or 20 young...with a kid!) I let them have it for a grand. The engine was still strong and the body was good. Sunroof wasn't working well, though. Interior was okay.

All-in-all, it was probably the best car they could afford. I mean, for a grand they could have the Maxima with 300k on it, or the Chevy Citation with 100k on it. I think they made a good choice.

Amazingly, I had tons of calls on the car, even though the ad I ran included the milage. Go figure.

heh...my 2k1 already has 87k on it.

if you really were able to get anything over $100 for it, mad props to you. As far as the potential goes, this is all BS, old tired body and worn out engine, there is no potential in it.

The biggest problem I see (and is less of a problem with each sucessive generation) is the body rotting faster than the mechanics of the car. My car only has 114K on it, but its a 93, with 10 buffalo winters on it. Amazingly, it still looks beautiful. Not much visible rust, but I know Its lurking underneath. Like when I jack up the car with trunk jack you can hear creaks and crunching. One day the jack is going to go through the floor. Still by far, this car has held up so very well. Its still on the stock muffler...10 YEARS of road salt. Our old oldsmobiles stock muffler lasted 3 years? ?

Long live Nissan. My next car WILL be a nissan.
