autolock on sale
hey guys,
I know that this is not the place to post such stuff, but found a site
http://www.youcansave.com
they are selling the autolock for about $50 (shipped I think?)
if you can't find the thing, try this other link
http://www.lottonet.com/offer.asp?of...156&id=7213551
hope it works.
ps, southpointnissan sucks. the sale dept is so dumb and rude...! just called them to find out cost of certain parts for my max...asked them about the internet coupon, they said I had to bring it in, (but I'm in indiana, not in texas, so the guy tells me...more or less...too bad!)

Well, for $50 the Autolock is more worth it than the $30 Club, which is a piece of crap.
One thing I don't like about the autolock is that you have to be sitting halfway out of the car to install and remove it if you are a tall person. I'm 6'1", and I tested a friend's autolock on my car and it took so long because I had to leave one leg out while I installed it. If someone were chasing you, and you had to get into the car, you couldn't, since the stupid lock is in the way.
A couple years ago, I bought an AUTOLOK (note, no "C") 2000 steering wheel shield/lock. It's made in Britain, and rated tops by all sorts of agencies worldwide. Even more than the Autolock. The Autolok 2000 covers almost the entire steering wheel, and the lock is pickproof. The thief can't cut the steering wheel cause there's no wheel showing to cut! The list price on the Autolok 2000 is $100, but I got it at AutoParts Warehouse for only $30. What a steal. If you want more info, do a search for Autolok 2000 (remember, no "C"). It's sort of bulky, but gets the job done.
