I'm on the hunt for a vlsd trans for my 95 Auto and I need a fast referance for the code on the trans. for a VLSD!

 

The Nissan code for the VLSD 5spd tranny is R5F50V. The regular open-differntial 5spd tranny code is R5F50A.

I've yet to find where or if that's stamped on the housing or the transmission anywhere, but those are the offical codes. I have no idea what serial numbers match up to the VLSD and non-VLSD trannies, unfortunately. I'm sure you could get more info from a Nissan dealer parts department.
