I need a "real" jack first, working on getting a full billet aluminum race jack, 6 pump and it's good to go and no more of these little wheels. Jackstands are jackstands, I just happen to use them without the piece that slide in the top because my jack cant get the car high enough

Need the hood pins to hold the hood down, 3 hoods have flipped up on me now, all due to lack of hood pins (and negligence on my part), what else can i do?

Jeff- You are just jealous that you know my secrets to success and can't master them.. haha.

thanks for the compliments, i will add some daylight/full-car pictures to show off the brakes better today.

For the money it would cost to do bbk in the rear, I'll work on getting some 16" rotors up front and upgrading the master brake cylinder and whatnot. The rotors are just rusty from washing the car earlier that day. I put up better pictures a couple of posts back (http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....70#post2499970)

Ive said it before and again, Man that's nice.
IMO, those gold calipers are hotter than any ive ever seen. I was thinking they were stock willwood color but it looks damn better now! Real nice.

its nice to see your doin small bs jobs and whatnot yourself and with little to no parts (ie.jack*s). it gives many kids inspiration who were just starting off even though we dont have all the tools we still do what we gotta to get it done.

ps. thanks for the new wallpaper.

The wheel is in motion in the pictures posted on the first page. It spins on remote now, but was only on a switch in the video. It turns some heads I tell you, it turns some heads..

Thanks for all the compliments everyone.

It seems I have an intelligent insurance company, they say they will replace the car as is, no matter what.. and on things custom, they just ask for labor receipts or proof of cost. Not a bad deal.

Hardly anything on the car has been free, a lot of it has been paid for with previous work and selling various parts for people and whatnot, I also do freelance graphic design that brings in some money. I guess I am just really good at allocating funds to this car from whatever income I can get.. ha.

I'm working hard to pick up a lexus sc400 as a daily driver :hint: :hint: malik.

thanks again.

bigsadler! beautiful. looks better every time I see it. and the hood pins look fine IMO. If you are planning on shaving keyholes etc.. would be sweet to see some slick doors with poppers.
still rollin on the JICs?
how are the FLTA2's treating you?

araffio.. no worries man, your car is still something to envy for most people

tint..

that would almost be a crime on his car.

sc400 daily driver, of course! on my top5 rwd coupe list w/out trying

show off THAT maxima? hell yes.. as if a maxima isn't quasi luxurious to begin with, sadler's is 'show quality' for sure, moreso than many supras and sc400's that i've seen (though obviously not all of them)

Appreciate the compliments, and I think I am keeping the doors smooth, unless I get a second car (I worry about reliability with poppers and whatnot). JIC's are the best suspension investment I have ever made, and we all know I have made quite a few suspension investments!

Should be 5-spd on monday/tuesday, I love sharing other people's secrets.

Where are some updated pictures of YOUR car!!!?? I have actually thought about getting a jeep, i love the idea of no top and no doors.. I need to talk to you about some new leather for my interior with a magazine shoot coming up.

thanks for all the compliments.
