Gauging Interest on Hyperblack Diamond Clears (bumper lights)...

I know some people have done this mod by either painting/tinting over their bumper lights. I just got a sample of the diamond hyperblack bumper lights in tonight. IMO it'll look especially sweet on dark color Maximas. I'll test fit them on my car tomorrow and take better pics in daylight.

How many people like the diamond hyperblack look rather than the plain diamond clear finish? If enough people are interested, I'll start a g/d in the groupdeal section.

Thank you in advance for sharing your opinion.

Ange im very interested! You think anybody would be willing to fab tinted rear clears? I just dread opening the rear taillights again, although since mine are cracked i would just buy a set of yours and tint those, just don't wanna break brand new clear/red tails ;-(

Speaking for Angela .. She took some pictures with the Hyper Black Diamond Clears on my car earlier today but the org was down, she'll post them later.

My thoughts: I notice that they're darker then the regular dc lights (duh). On my car it makes the front look darker (My car is black). To the untrained eye these will get overlooked very easily. But I notice the difference and like them a lot

Happy shopping

Would these dim the output of the lights any? If not, I'd try 'em.

I didn't know how many people posted I appreciate everyone's input.
I'll put a groupdeal together for these shortly for $45.00/set, free shipping to first 10 orders.

Conrad283 stopped by earlier to get them installed, definitely gives a stealth look to the front. I'll post up pics later when I get home.

MaximaRider: I'm actually thinking about getting my rear red/clear tails tinted to match the front. Though I think I'll hold off on installing the hyperblack bumper lens until I swap out the m-front bumper (it has new home in Texas) for stock front.

Ludacris: Yes, the housing is black.. matches perfectly for those with AE headlight mod.

ejj: I don't believe it effects the output of the amber bulb because the lens itself is still diamond clear, only the inner housing is black.

Here's the groupdeal thread:
http://forums.maxima.org/showthread....08#post2473808

As far as pics taken earlier today with Andy's Maxima (Conrad283), I don't think the pictures do any justice... it was cloudy out etc.

there isn't really that MUCH difference. Spraying normal DC clears would have a similar effect...

sometimes subtle differences are the best ones, imo... when you can notice an improvement over your average modded ride, but can't quite place your finger on what it is.

these lenses pull that off nicely. subtle but classy, I like them.
