hey guys, i just picked up my dual-gauge pod (part 20802 autometer) and now i need to know what gauges to put in it...

mardi and sx7r already know what i have in store, but for everyone else, im planning on running up to 100 shot of nitrous for this summers draggin'. what gauges should i get to moniter the system while running with NOS?

i did a search, and i have a few questions.

air/fuel ratio gauge, or fuel pressure gauge? what is the difference, which is better?

EGT? gauge. exhaust temp gauge i think, im not too sure...mardi, you told me about this one, what does it do exactly? im sure the exhaust temp relates to lean/richness of the system, right?

ok, so assuming i get those two gauges, which brand should i get? what looks the best? i kinda want white/silver faces cuz of the SE white faced gauges...

Mardi, you said in an earlier post that the EGT? gauges with led's are annoying sometimes, can i get one without led's?

well thanks in advance for the answers ill probably be buying the NOS setup with my tax return, so i need to find someone or a shop to install it and ill be ready to drag!!

thanks a lot
casey

color of guages

if you want the silver face gauges then get the pro-comp ultra-lite series. they are the ones with the silver ring on the outside of the guage. these look really good but they will not match your se gauges all the way. if you want the guages to match your se gauges then get the phantom gauges. they have the white face and match perfectly. the outer ring on these are black and gives the pod a nice clean look. but it is up to you and this is my $.02. goodluck

go with the phantoms... they match in the day, and glow a very bright white at night:
