Ok, this last rainy summer and all this snow in ny has me worried about putting a CAI on my max. Do you think there's any way the AEM Air Bypass Valve (article on it in this months SCC) would fit the pr cai?

i don't think there is any known problems with the PR CAI and wet weather, but if you want that bypass valve you would have to measure the diameter of the bypass valve and the PR CAI to make sure it would fit.

I live in WA state, if there would be any problem, it would be here...

My friend has a CAI and he has had NO problems with it.
PERIOD.

I saw the AEM air bypass valve in action a couple of weeks ago at the NOPI/SEMA show in Long Beach, CA. It definitely works as advertised. I don't know about anyone else, but if I was going to install a PR CAI, I'd probably get the bypass valve for a little added peace of mind.

i would definately want one on my car if i got a cai.. just to get a peice of mind ya know??.. if u want the air bypass valve on your pr cai, then i say get two metal brackets. and u might hafta modify the cai piping. chop a section of it, use two rubber hose conjuction thingies and two hose clamps. it should be an easy upgrade..
but of course if u mess up it is not my falt becasue this is just a suggestion. i do not resume any responsibility for any body or property damage inflicted by your install..
