My How-to Hyper Grounding System Install!

I won this auction on Ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2447153145

I installed this kit today it took me about 30 minutes total. I have an Optima Yellow Top Dual Post Battery so I went to my local NAPA Auto Parts store and bought some screw in side post battery terminals. I put one of them on my “spare” negative battery terminal.

1. The 1st the longest wire to my timing chain cover. 10mm bolt
http://images.cardomain.com/member_i...1_546_full.jpg

2. The 2nd longest wire I ran to the passenger side headlight ground. 10mm bolt
http://images.cardomain.com/member_i...1_547_full.jpg

3. The 3rd longest wire I bolted it to a bolt on the intake manifold. 12mm bolt
http://images.cardomain.com/member_i...1_548_full.jpg

4. The 4th longest wire I bolted to the throttle body. 12mm bolt
http://images.cardomain.com/member_i...1_549_full.jpg

5. The 5th longest wire I bolted to the driver’s side headlight ground located in the far corner (very hard to get to) of the fender well. 10mm bolt

I have noticed a little better idle and my lights shine brighter and my music hits harder and I can play it louder. Plus it adds more color to my engine bay..
http://images.cardomain.com/member_i...1_552_full.jpg

Also today the USPS brought me these...MAXSPEED springs.

Great job will. Can you connect these to anything or does it have instructions saying what goes where? Youve got lowering springs. Nice! Cant wait to see what itll look like. Im sure itll be sweet.

these kits are universal there are no instructions as to exactly where to put the grounds so you have to improvise...because of the wire length given I made this to show where I put mine...you can put them anywhere but I just used existing bolt positions...the spring's won't go on until I get my 19's...

I have the generic version of this not the actual "Hyper Ground" name brand system but here is a general idea what is accomplished...

I made my own using 4 awg and 8 awg wire (I used to have just 8 awg). I think they do help if you put them in the correct areas. Will put them in some good spots, but some of them I dont think do anything. I grounded the headlights, alternator, transmission, fuel injectors....any where there were already gound wires. Now my headlights don't dim when I press the brake. They look good, help out power loss, and can be inexpensive. Give them a try.

I dont remember the car, but maybe you can find the Maxima that got 7 hp more on the dyno with these. I think it was the HKS brand wires.

Depends what is causing it, but I fixed a friends car that had this problem by cleaning and doubling up the engine/body/battery grounding strap.

are u sure these will help? I mean thats like adding more grounds to your house. It wont make your lights shine any brighter, because this is there normal cycle capacity.. I don't know, Im just having a hard time understanding it. But, if u guys say it works, that by golly! Im going to try it... Only investing $40 bucks.... (+ ring terminals)

I just installed it yesterday..the "gains" noticeable was sterteo right off the bat..and as I drive the car more I will notice any other "gains"

I'm not taking it off the car..more grounding points cannot hurt at all.........

Nice work, did the kit come with those blue zip ties or was that your touch? It's obvious you take pride in your car, heck you even have the proper fluid in your windshield washer reservoir. The last time I ever had windshield washer fluid in any of my cars was back in 1992 when I moved from NYC.
