we got bored tonight and decided to go drive around in paul's max. he's BrokenMotor by the way. the following sets of videos all happened within a matter of maybe 15 min.

ok, this first set of videos is racing an accord with altezza lights, a GTR wing, exhaust.. you know, the usual. the first video is when he's trying to escape from us and isn't very sucessful - his car is all over the place *trying* to weave through cars. the second video is a race starting side by side and we just leave him. the third video is a race from a stop(we let him jump us so i could get a rear shot of the car). this is the best video in my opinion, so if you are on a slow connection, just d/l this one. the fourth video is paul just toying with him(yes, the accord is still trying to beat us).

http://www.n-bone.com/sx7r/accord2.MPG
http://www.n-bone.com/sx7r/accord3.MPG
http://www.n-bone.com/sx7r/accord4.MPG

this second set is us racing the previous gen prelude vtec. again, he's got the altezzas and exhuast. the first video starts when he's right beside us(driver's side), we walk him basically. the second video is just us pulling up to him(he's waiting for us). the third video is us pulling up to him from the other side and racing him from 2nd gear(again, he's waiting for us). we walk him pretty bad by the end of 2nd gear... oh yeah. ok, the fourth video is the best. we let him start out in front again so i can get a rear shot of the car. we catch up and pull on him pretty good.

http://www.n-bone.com/sx7r/prelude3.MPG
http://www.n-bone.com/sx7r/prelude4.MPG

this third set is racing a z28 LT1. he guy had a monster tach and some other gauges. for some reason his A/F ratio gauge had like 10 leds lighting up at the same time. anyway, the first vid is him trying to pull on us in 2nd and 3rd gear, but he couldn't and then we had to slow down.(he's on the passenger side) the second video is him on the driver side and he ends up pulling about a car on us. afterwards, that prelude we raced earlier pulled up to us and he was telling us how he couldn't believe we were hanging with a Z28. oh yeah...
http://www.n-bone.com/sx7r/LT1-1.MPG
http://www.n-bone.com/sx7r/LT1-2.MPG

these last two are of racing a civic SI. the first one is us approaching him from behind and pulling next to him. the second video is us kicking his ***.
http://www.n-bone.com/sx7r/civicsi-1.MPG
http://www.n-bone.com/sx7r/civicsi-2.MPG

alright, well that's all for now. hope you all enjoyed, more next time.

Great videos! How you think I'll do against the same cars? I'm getting an UPRD ECU and Don's VB upgrade. Other than that my only performance mod is a PR CAI. Btw, mine's an auto. The only one I think I would have a problem with is the Z28. Good kills! I bet you guys surprised the heck out of that Z28 driver.

BrokenMotor: what you mean new motor? What's wrong with your old one? A swap of some sort?

you'll beat the accord no problem. i think a vtech prelude MIGHT hang for a bit, but you'll get him eventually. SI will probably hang a little longer but you should still get him. ECU and VB will help alot.

You guys are wicked!! Nice!! Love that VQ roar. Man, you guys just walked the Lude and the Accord. Impressive.. You people need to pick up a vidcam that can record longer clips though.. =P But very nice. Keep them comming. Brokenmotor is funny. I get a kick out of his comments.. "bye bye" hahah!! Sounds just like me when I'm messing with people.

Re: please race on day time.

If they did that in the daytime.. I think they would both be in jail in a short time.. Hehe. This is in car racing here. You're not going get no studio shots. Maybe they need a better camera thats all.. But video #3 of the accord race.. MAN!! I can watch that all day! Brings back so many memories of such lesser cars messing with me.. =)

hey guys cool videos but i got an idea for ya. my mom has a sony digital camera that says it only records up to 15 sec. but me and a friend found out that if u hold the button down the whole time ur recording it will record a lot longer. we were getting like 50 and 60 second clips, u can't do much more than that though because theres not enough disk space. i don't know if this will work on ur camera but for those badass videos i think it's worth a try, lata!

Thanks for the information. I already beat the same type of Accord with my current setup, so I don't it's a problem. I have yet to race a Prelude(4th. or 5th.) or a Civic SI. For some reason, they don't seem to want to race me. Maybe they think, "Maxima, family sedan, not even worth my time."

The videos were awesome. Now, why don't the both of you go pick on someone that's more of a challenge. Stop picking on them Accords and Civics. I would love to see you guys get videos of you racing a CL-S, 3.2 TL, BMW 3 series, or even a 5th gen. Maxima?

I used Windows Media Player's video settings to adjust brightness and contrast, made the video look much better.

Loved them!!! Great sound!

Anyways funniest sh*t I ever saw...in the Accord video when you guys let him get a head start and one of you said "oh no he's pulling on us!!!" AHAHAHAHA... funny stuff!

Great videos! Brokenmotor, what kind of boost are you running to hang with that LT1! Man, I can only find a race once in a blue moon. Traffic is always a factor, and then the chances of me being the first at a light, then the chances of it being a car I would want to race( A car worth racing), and then the chances that the guy driving would run me.

Paul isnt boosted. He has a rebuilt motor w/ intake, y-pipe, & catback. Well, it alos helps that he knows how to race.

nice runs guys, I'm glad I found this post and rejuvenated it so some more people could enjoy the performance of the MAXIMA.

we need a section in this forum for videos.

questions though-
1. what were all those cars around the gas station ? It looked like a damn parking lot.
2.brokenmotor- did you purposely let everyone get the jump on you?
thanks good entertainment.

Just so you guys know, all the videos in this post is Pauls car, not THomas. Just incase there were any confusions. All those cars you see are at the gas station. These videos are form the illegal street races they attend.
