i'm seriously considering getting the stillen leather interior tomorrow. they said that they wouldn't budge on the $695.00 price though. what do you guys think? is it worth it?

 

If they sold the stuff at IKEA it'd be around $149, but obviously they don't. When you order "leather" on the Maxima you know ahead of time you're not really ordering leather. You're basically ordering an options package that puts a lot of vinyl on your seats and the sides of the doors. But you get other goodies like the climate control etc. If anything I think that messing with the factory seats will lower the resale value of your car. $695 is pretty outrageous imho. Get a fairly nice pair of shoes for that price and luggage to boot.

 

very true. only thing is that finding leather seats from a junked max is impossible and even getting the seat covers from that other leather seat place is gonna be around $500.00 plus install. i'll have to think about this one. any other opinions?

dude do it. The best thing I've done for my max is get leather from a 98. It totally changed the look/feel of the car. I'm sooo happy with it. I payed 650 for my leather seats that were like brand new. I got that stillen email, I think they said it was two tone right? That'll look even better! If you have the money do it. I promise you won't regret it.

 

Where I you located? Check with a local shop about having the factory seats re-done in leather. I had mine done in tweed and new carpet installed and few other odds and ends and it cost $750, but I'm doing leather for this season. A local leather shop is going to sponsor the car and install a leather package and yes it really leather not Pleather!!
