Cattman Coil-overs
I was trying to get the Koni/Sprint thing going for my Max but the 4th and 5th gens struts are mad different. I was talking to Brian Catts and he was telling me that he had some new coil-overs coming out for my Max that would do better. Considering that a complete set of OE struts for the 5th gens costs $1,000 an extra $700 for a coil-over setup doesn't sound too bad. Anyways the whole point of this is to find out reactions from those who already have the Cattman coil-overs, anything at all because I also talked to Koni and they said they might be getting to the 5th gen struts around June which might be worth the wait and cost savings, especially if the Cattmans aren't too hot. So any reactions to the Cattman coil-overs. Thanks.
Definately worth the money.. if you have the funds.. its the best choice for a suspension application for the maxima.. most people don't buy it because they don't have the funds.. but if you do.. i say get them.. it allows ride height adjustablity and ajustable ride dampning... great choice... i love the way they are...
Erk..
$1700's way too much, I'm definately gonna cross those off my list if that's what the price is now. I was seriously considering $1300, and $1500 kind of scared me away ... $1700 is definately a no-brainer though.
i have eibachs right now and dont like them because they are not low enuff. i would like to swap in a set of sprints. with tokico shocks but the tokicos dont seem like they are worth a sh*t. so that leaves with me the koni sprint set up. i am not sure if anyone around here (ATL) can do the whole shock/strut housing insert thing. i can put in regular shocks but not the koni thing (i dont think). well that sceniro makes the cattmann coilovers look more appealing. but 1700$ is a whole lot of money. but on the other hand i spent more than that on rims and tires. hmmmmm.
