Someone please help with this???

I have a '96 SE with almost 130,000 miles on it. When I drive, especailly at high speeds the steering wheel shakes. Its not major, but damn does it annoy me. I just put on new wheels that came balanced, so I doubt thats the problem. could it be alignment, or maybe me shocks or springs are shot???? Please let me know what you think. I'm thinking of lowering my car with new springs and shocks, so if yall tell me that will fix this problem it will just make me want to lower it more. Thank you all

Marc

could be alignment, could be tires wern're balanced properly, switch ur front and rear rims and see if the problem persists.

all three could be your issue, bushings, incorrect balancing, and alignment. however it sounds like they werent balanced right.....
