How did you get those red lights in the interior, i took apart my door and got into the window controler and the lights are green and on a computer chip like deal. let me know cause I have the red lights in behind the dials, and I would love for it all to match also can you put the red in the lights for the factory bose deck?

He just used 5V red LEDs from Radio shack (I would guess preferrably water clear glass) , a soldering iron, and took out the old LED, using the Solering iron at the solder points, and just put the new LED (making sure in the correct direction, long lead positive short negative) in heating the solder on the other side so it will go into the same holes. . . Plug it back in and you have Red lights. . . If I get my car back, i plan on doing a write up w/pics this weekend as I will finish doing mine in blue, but it is the same procedure.

Yep, thats how I did it.

About the BOSE deck, be brave. I helped a friend of mine take apart his Kenwood CD player to change the lights. We just painted the little bulbs in there. It can be done, but you will have to disassemble the head unit.

Just making sure, but I am right about the positive being the longer lead right? I don't know why but I am questioning myself on that one.

Just look at the insides of the LEDs and make sure you have the cathode and annode lined up just like the OEM.
