Just got back from street races, Vids and Pics... LONG
well, not alot of videos this time cuz the group of people that were at the races got smaller and smaller as the night progressed. as it turns out they kept disappearing off to the city jail. ok, on with the interesting stuff...
first off, to recap... last thursday i raced a turbo si off the bottle and he pulled me by two car lengths. so naturally, tonight i was seeking revenge with a full bottle. so the first opportunity i had to race him tonight was from a 60 punch when we were going to the next racing site after the first one got busted. he hits it and then i hit it and i pull one car on him by 90mph and we slow down. i don't have a vid of this one cuz Paul wasn't in my car yet, so too bad. however, when we got to the next location i was able to talk to him and take a few pics of his car. he has a RevHard turbo kit with custom piping @ 7psi. in addition, he has type R heads and cams. so below are three pics of his car.

moving on... we talk some more and then i get him to agree to race me from a stop. so we are about to leave and this red mustang that is supposedly real fast(7 second 1/8 mile he claims) comes up and says he wants a piece of the turbo si. so we all follow the mustang out to someplace to run. we get there and there's only room for 2 at a time. so the mustang says he wants to race turbo si first. ok, that's fine with me, i'll just follow behind and get it on video. so the first two vids are me and paul following them race.

as you can see, the mustang jumped the turbosi really bad, so the si didn't ever catch up, hanging about 1 car behind. ok, so now it's supposed to be my turn... and i'm still following them and suddenly right in front of us a COP turns on his lights and pulls us all over. we're in a line on the side, mustang, turbo si, and me in a four door family sedan. =) the cop get their licenses and talks to them for about ten min. (we didn't film this part cuz we didn't think the cop would like it) then he comes over to me and says, "so what part did you have in this? were you just following them?" i said "yes sir." he said "well those two are going to jail along with their partners. there will be no more racing in garland from now on. now get outta here." so i left, needless to say. the last two videos are us driving by the cop when he arresting them(can't see much of anything though).

yes yes, thats me speakin chinese at the end of the last vid. all in all, pretty boring nite, only got to race turbo si from a 60 punch. tomorrow, however, will be better. stay tuned.

we have races every night wednesday through sunday, provided the weather is decent. yeah, that civic was real nice... too bad he had to go to jail though. hopefully things will be better tonight. and yj will do the filming this time.
