how hard to fill license plate hole?

I am thinking about relocating my license plate and I was wondering how hard/expensive it would be to fill in the hole in my bumper for the plate in the rear? I guess it would be some kind of body filler? And then paint...could I do it myself (except the paint)? What would work? Could any body shop do this or would I have to go to some kind of specialist? Thanks!

You could do it yourself with some body filler and sanding it smooth, matching the paint is something for the pros but it shouldnt cost too much.

you gonna put it in the trunk like on a 5th gen? another member on here did that a while ago.

or do you have some place else in mind?

i know some people do their own work with paint from www.paintscratch.com but i dunno how good it turns out doing large areas.

goodluck with whatever you're doing...

if i were you, if i was gonna fill anything in, id do that center panel. in my opinion, the plate in the middle of the trunk kinda ruins the rear end. i prefer mine to hang low

I think if you can find another bumper off a wrecked car, you can cut out a piece out of it that will fit perfectly the empty area then use some bumper repair epoxy(theres a real name for it) attach it in and sand smooth/bondo/sand/putty/sand/sand/ primer and paint it.
