I have a extra TB dismantled all the way down to the throttle plate, but I cant seem to see how to remove the shaft that goes thru the TB. I was at a machine shop today (for other reasons) and was very impressed on the intricate items they had in their display case. After leaving the shop I was wondering if they could do the boring process on the TB, but I wanted to remove the shaft before returning and asking them. They would also have to fabricate a larger plate, but that seem so easy.
1) is there a max over boring before running into driveability problems, or does it matter
2) I was thinking somewhere safe about 3-5mm over, but it depends on the amount of material
3) finally, can that shaft be removed and how?
