The Final Mod...or is it? *PiCS*

Jay25 & his brother came upto NJ to help me install my V2 that i got off Jaime a few months ago. We are also tackling the tranny today with an ACT clutch and Spec lightweight flywheel. So far so good, the S/C is in and it only took 4 hours to do! Im pretty sure they hold the record for installs, lets see how long the tranny takes. Here's a few teaser pics until i get the car cleaned up and outta the garage. The cold weather sure as hell doesn't help. But boy does that V2 sound badass

Fidanza is SPEC, same thing just different distributor, seeing as Fidanza was on backorder everywhere.

Yeah, I'm not down in that neck of the woods anymore so I'll have to plan a trip to ATL soon....

BTW, tell Santa to send me some cash. It's colder up here and its going to get colder tomorrow. We are looking at wind chills below -35.

Last mod? I doubt it. In my case, installing the SC was what started the laying down of serious mod money. SAFC, Z32 injectors, Z32 mafs, JWT ecu, MEVI, wideband O2 sensor .... Then there's the Arias pistons and Crower rods to think about. The list never ends.

how much was that flywheel? and where'd you get it from. I've been thinking about getting a lightweight flywheel.

Ha i wish, took a couple hours to take it off(old clutch/fly and put on new clutch/fly) only cause my bolts are rusted and covered in salt/sand. But putting the tranny casing back on took about 10minutes I'd like to see the stealership do that with all the tools they have.

Jay25:

It took a bit longer then that. Thanks to his right passenger axle which was stuck courtesy of the salt and rust. To put on the tranny took less then ten mins on a 3 ton car jack on a piece of wood. Ghetto but gets the job done. Then once again the right axle jammed when was it ever going to stop. Axle was on in 5 mins after maximarider pounded it with a rubber mallet

Today it will be done just have to put the fender dirt protectors and a test drive and it will be done

arnaud. i will be racing you at englishtown! and if my maxima loses, i will race you with my S13! and if i lose both, then i challenge you to a drift showoff in the parking lot there! muhahahaha muahahahha...dude, your setup is simply amazing! i actually have a spec stage 3 clutch and fidanza flywheel in my s13. i didn't know they were the same company. spec stage 3 clutch feels a lot like stock pedal pressure, but engagement is a lot sharper. it's made to handle 450ft/lbs. basically, it's a sprung 4 puck! spec probably makes them for maximas since the clutch family line is so similar. if my clutch starts to slip more, i might consider a spec stage 2 or something.
