Well I really doubt you can do anything. Mistake #1 was paying with a money order, HUGE no no. I really doubt that's his car. Cheap, money stealing bastard. Hope all goes well.

depending on how much money you have invested, USPS will investigate your money order mail fraud issue for $3.
Make sure you have your receipt and his name was on the money order that you sent, then you can file a Form 6401, it costs $3 but I'm pretty sure you can get your money back - also, it's called mail fraud and is against the law to send a money order for something and not get your item. I used to buy online all the time and got ripped off a few times, but learnt some tricks to get my money back.

In the future, always, ALWAYS use a debit or credit card to make your transactions, especially with someone you don't know. Mastercard and Visa always have your back in case something happens, even if you use Paypal to make a transaction.

You have his plate and address and that's more than enough to get the authorities involved. You can also get a small claims suet against him. Good luck.

And if you have confirmation of him cashing the money order (I don't know how you would know that unless by money order you meant check) that also information to give to the authorities.

or, since you have everything big in Texas, Find a Monster Truck and Run his SHlT over at night. OOPS. I COULDN'T SEE IT OFFICER, He came out of nowhere.

BUT SERIOUSLY, Like Deezo says, Involve the Authorities. And even do that USPS thing someone else said.
