question: indiglow needles

hi all

i just put in my led lights in my guage cluster. i have one problem though.

i can't see the needles!?!?!?!? apparently the leds are not bright enough to light up the needles on the gauge cluster.

so i was thinking about getting some indigloe needles.

question is how many people here on this forum installed these things before.
does removing the needle mess with the accuaccy of the gagues????
thanks

I don't have real decent pics, Frank, but I've got Import Intelligence needles in MY Max.. Didn't mess up the accuracy of the gauges. You just gotta be REAL careful and follow the instructions or have another gauge cluster ready to replace the one you'll RUIN by screwing up.

As long as you are careful about taking the needles off the right way, you won't mess with the accuracy.. I was less than careful, and my tach is off by like 200 (i think).. overall the install isn't too bad, and well worth it in my opinion, just take your time and follow the instructions they give you.

Also, think about lightly sanding the back of the needles, to get a more even color with the indiglo needles..
