I was srapping the bottom of my Max going up on the ramp I knew I was scraping but I had to go up the ramp and all of sudden I heard some big "Boom" and I got off the car and looked at it, I saw my driver side clear lens popped out and I notice about an 1" crack right under my driverside headlight.......and I thought the Poly Urethene are not suppose to crack......

It can crack especially when you hit it hard like when you get into an accident.
But not as easy as a f/g that usually shatters after the impact.

Yeah I was gonna say especially in the cold weather, urethane would be much more prone to cracking. That really sucks tho.....

I recall Stillen having a guarantee on the urethane lips that if you crack them they'll replace them. Maybe they offer something similar on the bumper?

I think they stopped doing that a long time ago. Something about if there was evidence the lip scraped the ground or hit something they wouldn't cover it. I cracked my Stillen lip way back in the day and Stillen basically told me no way they would replace it since I must have hit an object. Well, obviously I did, or else it wouldn't have cracked.

I cracked my stillen lip about 2-3 years ago in the winter. I bought it from Phuong and I emailed him and told him my lip cracked. He made me send pics of the lip and my car(to make sure I didn't wreck my car) Then stillen sent me a new front lip and all I had to do was cut out the model number of the lip and send it back to them. I would reccomend getting in contact w/ whomever you bought the front bumper from. I'm pretty sure stillen has a limited lifetime warranty on there front bumper.

Its hard to crack but once it does i think your screwed as far as repairing it. Fiberglass cracks easily but is repairable.....

I would definatley keep trying until someone @ Stillen replaces it or does something....

Nope still got the crack that I somewhat repaired on my own. My sig pic was taken with the crack there so if you look at the corner of the lip under the drivers side foglight hole, you can maybe see a line where it was. Im getting my bumper repainted in the summer so Im going to have the shop repair the crack for real.

Man!! Reminds me of the day I cracked and broke my old Stillen lip. My tranny died so I had to get it up a trailer to take it to the shop...I had 3rd gear left so I gave it gas and as soon as I went up CRACK...SCRAPE...BOOM!!! Broke in three pieces....man I wanted to cry. Call Stillen and find out if they replace it free. I never knew about it...I might have called them if I knew...too late.

I managed to crack my stock bumper, which should be urethane or some type of similar plastic. They can only flex so much, depends on where the pressure is being applied I suppose.
