I am no longer the fastest N/A auto 4th gen!

We worked on my car for 12-14 hours total for the last few days and now I have to shift my own gears . I was so tired today when we finished that it almost sucked having to shift my own gears when I drove home. If it wasn't for the stupid clutch lines it would have been alot faster. Major props to Jay25 and his brothers and also my friend Andy for the help. Now I just have to wait for the clutch break-in to see how much faster the car is. I plan to dyno and go to the track soon to see if I can better my 14.2.

I tried to find a fidanza but they are on backorder everywhere. I went with a Stock flywheel and exedy clutch. I will probably get an aluminum flywheel at some point, but I will probably stick with a stock-type clutch.

you mean a complete 5 speed swap. Of course it got pretty late thanks to the hydraulic lines. Yesterday I pulled a complete engine and transferred all the missing parts to the new one. Thing was naked.

He comes down here and hes done! No more snow, nice weather, large highways, theres always something to do. Plenty of people to hang with. Theres plenty of ricers and real fast cars. I believe the name of the guy is Ed. He lives here in Atl and works with Baggs at Lockheed.

Frank... cool guy, no gauges, sleepr looking. He likes kicking it with the bikers and watching them do tricks around the east side.

I'll be moving to Atlanta within the next year or two. I've got to move back home (I was born there) and hang with relatives. 26 years in the Midwest sucks!!

Atlanta looks like the place to go if you have a max. Almost all the turbo ones and alot of the hot ones are there or at least close by. I may have to move out there, lol.

my thread has officially been hijacked. Anyways, I drove the car hard today for the first time. first gear is definatley fast, if it will hook up, my car will wheel hop pretty badly sometimes. The other gears don't feel much faster than the auto did. Overall it seems faster and my roommate definately agrees. I am a pretty good 5spd driver even though I have never owned one, I have driven plenty. I will have a hard time driving it at the track the first few times, I don't think I will miss any gears, but I have a hard time getting the gas and clutch just right after a fast shift. I bet I will be very inconsistent. I can't wait to go to the track though.

sorry for hijacking your thread.

Anyways, do I see boost in your future? . You need what you need to do is fill your motor mounts with that poly stuff. It will eleviate wheel hop.
