I have wind noise in my car. does this mean the dealer will to fix it for free? or not. the car is NOT under warranty.

hey sweetsound u might want to correct the name, i do believe it's Daniel not Dave.

Wind noise

Not sure if its same/similar or what but my 99 SE had "wind noise" above 50 mph or so and there was a Technical bulletin about that. Turns out the molding around the front windshield was prone to loosening and fluttered in the wind creating "wind noise". Its an easy fix...

so how did you fix it...i did look and that piece is a little loose.

I have bad wind noise too, but I know exactly where its coming from. When I rearended someone a long time ago. You can just see that the whole unit body is a little bent out of shape. The very top rear edges of the front doors poke up about 1/8" inch from flush. This makes a lot of noise, but nothing I can do about it.

Also, how can I find out more information about a particular TSB. Listed in the TSB notice is only a short description of the problem, where can I find the repair procedure?
