Video: The Chariot vs Mississippi American Muscle Car Club

What a day yesterday, drove to Hub City 80 miles east of here and they were close due to the Super Bowl I think ? So on a whim I cut through all kinds of Mississippi backroads to see if I could find this place. HA ! (old man sitting on porch sees a tractor pass by, few dogs walking down the road, truck and trailor full of cows and then later the Chariot !) it really is like that.

Finally found the place and they were running. It is a new dragstrip but they didnt have the trap speed signs up (man i hate that)

Anyways check this place out ! Might have been 2 imports there if that, counting me.

cable/dsl friendly - 56k will be like downloading 5 minute song
p.s. sorry about the sax !

I can't see the video because I'm at work, but I see you ran another new best 14.14@96mph with a killer 2.12 60'. Where did you buy that light battery again?

Ceasar great video as usual. Very nice runs and with a NEW PB. You're gonna hit 13's in no time NA. Also that race with the blue truck was great

14.14 .........hahahaha J/K. Yhea your car is fast but it's all the driver if you ask me. Most other guys here would be getting 14.4's all day long if they drove your car. Congrats on the PB......can't wait till my track opens up Way to go Ceaser.

Well he's getting so much better because he's trying to keep up with me... It's only a matter of time before he gets 13's... I told him I must always be a full 1 second ahead of him, and I'm still 13.4's >:O So I guess I'll have to get a 13.1 now... Look forward to some in car cam videos coming soon!! Edited together too, so you get to see The Snowmobile vs Ceasar's Chariot at the track... And if any of you live in the Southeast and want to come to the meet and participate in this crazyness we're having this Wednesday at No Problem Raceway, check it out @ http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=280629

I30tMikeD - i have a strange feeling that those few 1000's of a second will not be enough once you guys hit the track when they open back up. at least we have a little 13.99 battle going on ..lol ! i may have to ride on a frame & milk crate to get there ..ha ha !

frosty - one wrong move and your history ! lol !

How can 13's be standard if only one person has done it so far and on slicks.

That's probably the best time with those mods.
Now you need a 2000 intake manifold on your car, mine will be on before race season.

Not that I disagree about the 13s standard comment, but I ran 13.98 on my winter tires, I ran 13.62 on slicks.

That track looks pretty sweet. It's out in the middle of no where, but it's new and doesn't appear to be in area where it would get crowded with racers. My track in Kansas City usually runs 4 lanes wide and 30 cars deep plus we have about 30 guys on motorcycles and then the sub-12 second "Pro Mod" cars which take up 20-25 minutes of racing every hour. Needless to say, I'm lucky to get 3 passes in 4 hours.
