insurance help!!!

hi guys,

I'm in the process of buying my first car and I'm torn between these:

98/99 maxima se with 58k miles/94k fully loaded
99 GS eclipse 40k
99 GST eclpise 60k
2001 Mustang GT 25k miles

I know all these cars are differnet genres but I wanna know which one of these are the least insurance expensive? and which one is the most reliable?
My friend has a 98 maxima and it's very nice .I plan on hooking it up little by little and I will drive it like I stole it.
so I'd appreciate alot for any information regarding insurance rates in NJ.

oh by the I'm 17 and this will be my first car.

thanx

Well your best bet is to get the car under your parents name. And have them add you on as a driver. If 01 Mustang is a V8 your going to get rapped on insurance they don't like V8's at all plus your age. GS and GST are going to be a little high because they are 2 door cars and are considered to be sports cars. The Max isn't the cheapest car to insure but it might be the cheapest out of the 4. I think the Max and the GS is your best bet in reliability. Mustangs tend to be Found on the road dead (FORD)

You can afford an 01 gt? Nice, very nice for a 17 yr old. Go get some free quotes. I'd think it was the eclipse gs. Those things are gay. It's the slowest car you've got on your list by far. looks fast, but it'd get smoked by your neighbors 8 yr old girl on her hot pink barbie bike with the rainbow tassels.

Definitely try to get insurance under you parents names. I have it for $600 for 6 months through my dads name and I'm not listed as a driver. I'm 17 too. I got a quote for under my name for about $1200 for 6 months, That was the best quote too.
