235/45/17 on stock 17" SE/AE Rims? ?

The stock 17's are 7" wide, so I really don't think 235 tires are meant to be put on them. However, I have heard of a bunch of people running with 235's on these rims without any problems. So, it is really your call....

they'll fit ok; you'll probably get a little more sidewall bulge than with wider wheels but if you don't mind that then go for it; a benefit is that your wheels are more protected from scuffing from curbs etc.

yes they'll fit but i wouldnt recommend it. Rim is narrower then what is recommened for a 235. Also, your overall diameter will be off a tad, throwing off ABS and speedo/odometer.
