It stands up all the time.

I'm talking about my power antenna.
It's stuck in the extended position. I can hear the motor running everytime I turn the radio on or off, so I know that works. Is there some kind of gear within the motor that I have to replace.
I haven't really looked at it yet, just wondering if this has happened to anyone else? And what did you do?

I became familiar with this after I forgot to turn the radio off at a car wash. My antenna got bent and I took it apart to diagnose and repair. There is a white plastic D shaped rod/gear that is inside the antenna. It sounds to me like this piece has come out of the motor housing assy. or the gear which causes this part to turn may be stripped or worn out. It's not an overly difficult repair and you may be able to handle it. If the mast is stuck open, you'll need to remove the mast first from outside the car and then the motor assy from inside the trunk. Do you have instruction for doing this?
