I recently took a body kit off my '95 Maxima. The kit overlapped a corner of the fender and caused rusting underneath. I would like to change the fender, but don't know how much trouble it would be. Is the fened welded on or what? I was wondering if anyone who has done this job could help me.

 

I doubt that it's welded on. It's most likely bolted on and some of the seams have sealant on them. If you remove the fender for replacement, make sure you get an OEM one. Some of the aftermarket body parts have poor fitment. You will have to align it when you replace it. If you don't have any body repair experience, it's better to take it to someone that does.
