Those that have done it, have you encountered any problems with coverage?
Is your car considered salvaged? The more I think about it the more
it seems obvious that, in the eyes of most insurance agents,
it would be. Regardless, can’t hurt to ask, thanks in advance.

It's not that obvious...

Why would replacing a part of the car make it a salvaged vehicle?

I put new tires on my car that were different than what came from the factory. Salvage, I think not.

The answer is no. The only way a car is salvaged is if it has structural damage or any damage by the act of god/mother nature. Or in other words floods, hurricane, tree falling, etc.
