Redmax Destroyed

Well last night I was at the shop to get the final touches done on my new engine and turbo kit. I've only had the car back for a month. When I got to theshop the owner of the shop told me it was going to be another half hour before he could start working on the car. So i said no problem I'll go get gas. He asked me to get him some taco bell which was 2 blocks away. I say no problem. SO i Start my 2 block trip. Oh if i didn't have to go to taco bell then I would not have had to go across the light.

Its slightly raining outside so I'm not speeding Right as i'm bout to go through the traffic light, the light turns yellow. A woman from the oncoming traffic decides she's going to make a left turn right in front of me grandma style, oh wait she wasnt even slow, she stopped!!@@@@!!!!!must have noticed me at the last second and froze like a deer in headlights!!! So I slam on the brakes turn the wheel to the left because if she would have moved we would have missed each other and then WHAM!! right into her car. My Focking LUCK!! So the front end damage is quite heavy. I was throw toward the windshield when the airbag smacked the **** out of me and told me to sit down! I have a mild concussion from the airbag, but it saved my life! I saw the smoke from the bags so i jumped out of the car and ran accross the street to not get hit again.

On the positive side, the police officer said the accident was her fault and gave her a ticket. She was driving a ford taurus that was owned by the security company that she works for. Who should i go after? her insurance company or the security company's?

I think the car is a total loss I will have pics up later

That's terrible....sorry to hear that, at least YOU are okay...I would start by going after her insurance company for the $ to replace the car and the mods - maybe some extra scratch is available from the security company - if it were me, I'd be on the phone to one of those lawyers you hear about who go around looking for car accident victims to get them "MAXIMUM SETTLEMENT", especially since there's two parties involved (insurance/security co.)

DAMN,DAMM, DAMMMMM!! I HATE stoopid drivers....

I didn't even get a chance to see her while she was in her prime....I'm very sorry to hear about your loss, but extremely happy that you're alive and well. These types of things always happen when you least expect it.....I know you were ****ed. I would go after both companies too....get 'em for your material loss and your medical.

OMG! glad that you are ok....

most likely the security company will let their insurance company handle this case. I would just contact your insurance company and have them deal with their insurance company. I tried to deal with an insurance company for my accident and it was sure a pain in the butt - you just have to keep calling them every single day and keep leaving messages until you catch their attention.

hate to see this happen to a nice and unique maxima.

OMG that sux. same thing almost happend to me few months ago but i was the one who was makin the turn. the light turned red and i started to do my turn but this BIG *** F350 who was rolling at about 30 mph decided to RUN THE light @ 30 mph. that bastard had no clue that the light had just turned red. he kept rolling thrue the intersection. luckily i wasnt going fast and we both slammed on the brake and i turned the wheel back to right to get back in the middle of the street. he stopped less than 5 inches from me.

he was soooooooooooooooo lucky he didnt put a scratch on my max or he woulda been beated the fck out.

sorry to hear about ur max, hopefully ur ok
