I took the foglamp out of the assembly and pull the bulb out and noticed that the inside reflactant paint was bubbling and cracked as if the surface had grease and or oild before it was sprayed on and is now pealing off. This is a manufacturing error but now I have 42K miles in my car and it is a 96. I wonder if it is still covered under warraty.
Preparing for a the worst, do any of you guys know the part number of the foglamp (driver side) for a 96 SE?
Where can I get one for cheap (in good condition)?
How much would it be?

Not sure, but I'd say it's worth a shot... I'd just drive down to your dealer... explain that you do'nt normally open these things to look, see what they say.

As for p/n, I donno... but I think cost is around $100?

Don't think it is. I got a 98 used, still under warrenty. The dealer told me that full bumber to bumber warrenty is only good for 3 years or 30,000 miles, whatever comes first.

They are not under warranty
Only if the car is under 36k miles or 3 years (bastards). The blood sucking dealer wanted $118.00 plus tax for one (diver side) and the $40.00 for the labor (I can do it myself with one hand an no eyes in 5 minutes).
I talked to Courtesy and the charged me $81.00 shipped to my doorstep (beats having to look for a used one all over the world and pay 50 + shipping)
