I know a couple of you guys have seen this, it's one of the reasons I've always been wary of NOS.

Ya. I saw it too. But it was his own fault.

I read the stuff he said, but it boils down to installing it wrong. If the bottle heater had not been on, it wouldn't have burst. Does look pretty cool though.

not this again

The guy brought this on himself and if you set something up incorectly then things like this happen... It states clearly on every nitrous kit professional installation recomended. im my opinion he's an idiot that blew up his car because he left the bottle closed and the warmer on.

Well, the blow off valve should have blown regardless, but the guy is definately a moron. It was a defect in the tank that contributed to it though. Of course, those of us who were around when this happened remember him telling us how we are all going to hell, so we don't hold a lot of faith in this guy. BTW, he actually lives about 15 minutes from me, I was thinking about buying some of his "Home Health Care products that really work!"

Yea, this guy managed to combine auto enthusiasm/racing, network marketing, and eccentric christianity all into one web page. IMO, this leaves him with no credibility.

*sigh*.
the guy's a moron. he brought all this on himself by leaving the heater on. lame ***.

it's like putting a coke can in a microwave. "gee. i wonder what will happen" kind of stupidity.

well.. what i dont get is all that weight loss crap and the Jesus Loves You advertisements splattered all over his site.

and that "supposed" letter from the NX president was justified. the Nos guy clearly is stupid. he wants so bad to prove NX was wrong, then ****, let an indept council look at the remains..

See the thing is the blow off valve should have gone off but didn't. Maybe he had it sealed off for more pressure but I don't know. The thing is he had the heater set up independantly of the thermostat or whatever. It didn't know when to shut off at the pressure and heat range needed and blew the living **** out of the trunk. That guy still is a moron though. My favorite NOS'd car will still be The Max's. Just wait til he steps up his 125 shot to a 150 on a stock VG engine!

This guy is a good reason why people who cannot properly use safety and common sence should not buy NOS. Also if he was not qualified to install it then he should have gotten somone who was.
