Need new brake rotors, dont want stock....but on budget

I need new brake rotors. I dont have the money for a big brake kit or anything expensive but i want something better than stock. I hear to get slotted only and not drilled because they crack is this tru? I beat on my brakes bad .

Also are 2k2+ rotors bigger, and would i be able to use them?

If you beat on your brakes then get slotted only... I doubt you would be able to use 2k2 rotors even if they are bigger, someone here would of mentioned it before :P

I gotta suggest the brembro rotors with EBC green pads! They saved my life last night around 1:30 am when some fawking deer decided to play on the wet road.

Powerslot rotors are overpriced IMHO. If i was you i'd get a set of 4 slotted only Brembos and Axxis MM pads. I don't beat on my brakes regularly, so i went Xdrilled because they'll look good behind the Koseis. If you want quiet, go Reybestos Quiet Stop.

I just had my brembo blanks and porterfield R4-S install and theya re great. They definately bite harder than stock rotors and porterfields. Tire Race sells the rotors for $44 each for fronts and I thnk $54 for the rears. Great purchase and will go with them again. I debated on slotted but I don't want the slotts to eat away my pads.

Forget getting special rotors, just get some cheapo rotors and get some good pads such as Hawk HPS or Porterfield R4-S. Brake pads determine how well your car stops, not the rotors. Especially since you said you are hard on your brakes, I would definately not get slotted rotors for the simple fact that they are more expensive, will wear through your pads even faster than you do now, and won't improve your stopping at all unless you are doing stop after stop after stop like you would do on a road course and are getting a bunch of outgassing and glazing.

get brembo blank, stock replacement rotors and Hawk HPS for front pads, or Porterfield R4S for front pads/rear pads. For spirited street driving, thats all you're gonna need

If you're driving hard enough to cause that to happen your stock sized rotors will most likely warp anyways. I was assuming you wanted something that looked better than blanks hence i suggested slotted.

i only suggested slotted cause i thought they had much better cooling. I dont care much how it looks.
