Twin Turbo idea...

Would a twin turbo setup for the 300ZX fit onto a 3.0 Maxima since the Maxima engine is basically a N/A 300ZX engine?

That's nothing. I put the Z engine in WITH the twin turbos. Then I hooked the twin turbos to a big single!

Those are way two different engines.
VQ30DE..........VG30DE
The VG has different cams, manifolds, etc. than the VQ.

I don't think that would work...

Well thats nothing. I have a twin turbo setup and a super charger for the lag, and I have them all connected to a very big turbo.

Judging from this post I bet you still haven't realized those guys are being sarcastic. Just seems like you might be one of them slow people with drool coming from their mouth all the time. The maxima engine is NOTHING like the 300zx engine and whoever told you that should get hit by a falling airplane. From this post I'm also guessing you haven't read the FAQs either so get your *** over there ASAP. One more time, a n/a 300zx engine(vg30de) is NOT the same as a maxima engine(vq30de). Stay in school.

Have you seen how cramped the 300zx engine bay is?

It would be a unique project though, its possible if you are good enough with wiring, and you can get some new mounts made. Then you would need the engine, tranny, custom driveshaft, rear end, and wiring harness from the 300zx.

BTW: I think you may be thinking about the J30, it has the same engine as a N/A 300zx.

u guys have som weak cars. i have a supercharger wit 13psi and four twin turbo setups for each tire and i have a 200 shot for each of the twin turbo setups. then since im making that much power i got the hiscas four wheel steering system to help my car handle better. then i thought i need to go full awd and i got the awd from a hyundia santa fe which allows me to put all my hp to the ground.

told you that u guys have some weak cars.

Whoa there, no need to start getting an attitude buddy. I know they are being sarcastic, it was just a simple question that I had no idea about. Chill out.
