Does anyone know what a EVAP canister vent control valve is on a 96 max. And where is it at? my check engine light came on and the code that the ecu gave me was for this part. can anyone help? Thanks

I am not sure but i think their is a TSB on this.. (Technical Service Bulletin) I could be wrong.. if their is teh dealer fixes it for free.. others have had this problem.. you have to let the dealer fix it..

post in 4th Gen Forum let Daniel Martin give you some advice.. I am sure he has answered this one before

Print this page.. bring it to the dealer and ask them to fix it for free.. they are suppose to.. but you got to press them real hard.. and try all the dealers in your area.. don't give up..

hmm...

I had that replaced on my '98 gxe @ 32k. I didn't know there was a TSB. Just brought it in under warranty.

My mechanic told me about that a while back. He was in on that problem that led to the TSB. He had to go to arbitration for Nissan. The people actually had bugs in their car.

I have a 1996 Maxima. Does it still cover under the warranty? Keep in my that my car is 7 years old.
