I am just curious what your opions are on this. Do you like the '97-'99 SE 5-spokes or the 2000+ SE/GLE 5-spoke Wheels??

I was just wondering what you guys think because I kinda like the look of the 2000 SE wheels on the '97-'99 SEs.

Here's a shot of a '98 SE w/ the 2000 SE style wheels. It's Gr8bone's former '98 SE:

I was kinda thinking I might put the 2000 SE wheels on my '97 SE which is coming 3/23/01 in the same color as the pic shown above. What do you guys think??

I like the Lexus Gs400

so I got them (hehe). They had a slight fitment problem, but I had the centerbore milled for $100 and bought some mag lug nuts for $20. I like the look. I'll have some pics up soon.

5 spoke 2k 16 inch SE/GLE rims. I dont really like the 17's. I think a 5 spoke 17 wood look nice.

Thanks for everyones input. I think I'm gonna go ahead and get a set of the 2000+ SE/GLE wheels so I can be different from the other Maxima SE's around here. I only know of 2 other people who have these rims on their 4th generation Maximas. Then I'll keep the regular wheels as a back-up set. I would get a nice set of 17" or even 18" rims if I had the money...but I don't, and I want my car to be a sleeper and not stand out...so stock rims it is!!

SE rims

Funny thing, I switched rims with BrianV who has a fourth gen SE-L.. I think the 4th gen SE rims look great on my 5th gen, wish I had a pic to post, and conversely the 5th gen gle/se rims that I had look GREAT on the 4th gen. nice choice, gr8bone's care looks sick =).
