I'm looking for an accomplished shop to do a Koni installation for my 96 Max. I have a local shop that is willing but has never done this before. I was curious to know if anyone in NY has gotten their Koni's installed at a shop (please refer the shop to me if you have) or done the installation themselves (I'm willing to pay, lets talk!).

Email me, or find me on IM @ Stucky97@aol.com

Thanks in advance!

Let me know where you are, I'd be willing to pay you to help me with the install, or just refer me to a good shop. Thanks Ryz sometimes I wonder where the rest of the NY Maxima's with Koni's are. We can't be the only ones.

By the way, what are your initial impressions of the Koni's and what type of springs are you using?

We have a guy at altimas.net that does installs on our cars for a fee. Maybe he can do max's. He lives in Jersey though.

The koni install for the altima and maxima should be the same. Oem struts need to be cut for just about every Nissan application when putting in Konis.

I'd prefer to have it installed in Brooklyn, or Queens but give me some contact info for this guy in NJ. I may consider it. Does he really do it for free???

He doesn't do it for free. I said he did it for a fee. I'll get you his e-mail from the other site.
