1. I've read that you should put rubber sleeve's on each end of the new springs when you install them. Are there sleeve's on the car now? If not where can you get them? Any auto store?

Also, any other advice/tips/things you wish you did, would be great!

they should be on the bottom of the factory springs, just take them off and reuse them unless they are in bad shape

I think the question was WHERE can you get new ones because the springs only come with one each... mine pretty much need to be replaced too...

Yep, that was the question. Also, are the sleeve's on both ends of the springs? Should I put them on both ends of the spring?

As for advice,

Make sure you do not strip any bolts! And use a breaker bar.

The OEM springs should have the sleeves on them to re-use. You dont need them on the top, because the spring is already resting in the rubber of the mount. The sleeve is only to prevent noise in a metal-to-metal contact on the lower part where it rests on the strut.

hmmm

Noone has answered your question, have they?

I will....You can get the fronts from Nissan for about $15. The back? They are about $40 a throw and you need two, one for each side in the rear. So you would be spending $110 for fours rubber boots!!!! THats crazy!

Try a junk yard because no pepboys, autozone...etc carries the part; I have tried about 8 of them!

Good luck

A breaker bar is like a big pole or something you can get on a wrench and push/pull. A big pole{breaker bar} will add tons of torque to a hard to loosen bolt. I personaly could not get the bolts off so I brought out my bar and just gave it a little push/pull and the bolts loosen right up.

Thanks guys!

Thanks for all the advice guys!

My next question....

I just recieved a set of camber bolts to put in when I install the Sprint springs. Am I going to have any idea on what adjustments to make, or should I just throw them in and let the shop take care of that when I get it aligned?

Thanks again!

You won't know what the camber is until you put it on an alignment machine. FWIW, my camber went to -.75deg. when I installed my Eibachs. I think the factory allows up to -1.0, so I didn't bother with camber bolts.

Shumax, you are confusing the strut dust covers with the spring sleeves. The sleeves should be less than $5 each from Courtesy Nissan.
