Quaife Differential Question
Quaife Differential Question
Does anyone know if there are any other places to get a Quaife differential, other than Cattman??? I'm not too enthusiastic about paying $1400 for one...
Perhaps someone else carries it for less??? I just like to shop around a little if I'm buying something this expensive, and the only company I can find that carries it for Maxima's is Cattman... Also if anyone knows where I could get it installed in the SouthEast, that would be great.

Cattman was the only company carrying the Quaife for the Maxima. Nobody else carries it for the Maxima. I heard there will be no more avalible for the Maxima. YOu might want to call Cattman to verify...
That is true...NO MORE QUAIFES will be available, however the weekend before last, I saw one in Cattmans' garage.
Anyways, he'd have to cough up for a batch of 35-units and the WHOLESALE price alone would be more then $1400 each, so guess what the retail would be.
BTW, I hope nobody has one fail, because that "lifetime" warranty is toast.

HEEH...guess who got the last one?? give you a hint....how did i find out Cattman wont be carrying them anymore....haha
Not even REMOTELY close to being on the same level. Quaifes were Gods' gift to FWD high torque monsters.
I just hope *SOMEONE*, *cough*Greg at CM*cough*, picks up where Cattman left off. Now pretty much ANYONE can be a Quaife distributor for these now, where as Cattman had exclusive rights before.
Maybe CM, Stillen, or someone will take advantage of this, but I doubt it.

agreed, id never compare a phantom grip to a Quaife. But i guess if someone wants a cheap alternative for an LSD. I wouldnt recommend it tho, plus ive heard bad things about phantom grip.
