need help! nanyone know stats on lt1 caprices

my girls brother said he has (i seen it)a built lt1 caprice w/ police package. on top of that he laughed at the thought of my max beating him. has anybody raced one of these ? maybe somebody knows the performance stats on one

If his car is comparable to the Impala SS and it runs like a STOCK one, you'll need a five speed to beat it. They run around 7 sec. to 60 and around 15 in the quarter. Now if he has some mods (there are many for this car) you can forget it. I beat my uncle's SS (w/intake) at EVERY speed up to 135, then he starts to walk me.

i have a hks intake, y-pipe, and exhaust plus 5speed. hopefully when he said it was built he means rebuilt i should be able to at least keep up if not beat him.
