I added the 3.5 SE emblems from the 2004 Maxima to my trunk but now I noticed the stainless steel key lock stands out too much. I want to get some tape and paint it over to cover it. Has anyone came up with a cheaper idea other than having the trunk shaved to get rid of this problem. I recalled the 4th gen Maxima owners use to black out the chrome trim around the door windows a while back with black tape. Can this tape be a good suggestion? I can go take pics for every one if you are having a hard time figuring out the I am talking about....
