WarpSpeed y-pipe group deal pipes sent out
#1
Just spent the last hour at the post office sending out a truck load of the group deal y-pipes. The lady said some should be there by Monday, the rest Tuesday and Wednesday. We will be mailing out tracking #s this afternoon after Dallas and Mom get back from Striper fishing.

Got mine
I got mine yesterday, there was a problem with the post office. It looks nice and i can't wait until next week to put it on. Are there any instructions online for the VQ pipe, i need some and there is no O2 sensor to plug on these right?

Just get the car up on stands where you can get under it easy. Lubricate the fasteners and take em off. I took my flange nuts off with an impact and a 12" extension, on one of them I had to use a universal connector. I couldn't get to the front O2 sensor to remove it with the pipe on the car so fortunately it was easy to remove the electrical plug on the front one and I took the pipe off with the front sensor still mounted. The worst fasteners to take off for me were the ones holding the bracket on the front of the cat flange. Had to use a box wrench, I think 12mm and it took a while to come out bc there's not much room to work there. The ideal tool here is one of those racheting type box wrenches. I have em in std sizes but not metric. Once you take off the two front flange nuts (6) and the two bolts holding the heat shield on under the engine, you'll need to brace the pipe up with an extra jack stand or something to keep it in place until you remove the back fasteners. I was surprise at how heavy the oem pipe is. What's the weight of the 409 pipe?
Good luck. If you need anything, send me some mail.
