My new mod

Well, if some of you saw my thread about modifying the guages...thats what I did. It took about 30-40 minutes overall...drilling and sizing all the holes right. But I LOVE the new look.

Thanks Jake!

Im confused with your car.... What is it? Looks like a SE from the outside, but you have a GLE or GXE driver side air bag cover.

I emailed the seller like 10 times asking him to give me a refund bc he said it would fit my car b4 i bought it but he wont accept it (speedinfiniti or something). You drilled into the gauges and theres no problem at all?

Haha, just TAKE your time. MAKE sure the guages fit over the needles and DO NOT take the needles off.

Do NOT over tighten the screws (in the middle of tach and speedo) and make sure the needles DO NOT stick!

Just wondering what's wrong with overtightening the screws? I'm so glad...I've had these damn gauges sitting around since December and no one wanted to buy them off me.

If you over tighten them, it'll cause SOME damage SOMEwhere.....just tighten "hand tight" w/ a screwdriver

yea it does. I didnt have the "dimmer" adjusted before putting them back in, so when the guages are bright....the console is dim and vice versa
