Lemon Law on used car

Taking your car in more than 3 times for the same problem, you are entitled to a new car? Does that only apply to new cars or used cars too?

I'm pretty sure Lemon Laws are stated-based, so doing a google search is probably your best bet.

What problem have you taken it in for? Have they fixed it and it re-occurred, or have they not been able to fix it?

In mass it's only 30 days, and given the number of posts you've had I'd guess you're FAR past that.

WRONG. The length of the warranty is based on mileage in Massachusetts. Used cars with <40,000 miles have 90 days warranties and those less than 80,000 miles have 60 days. Cars with less than 125,000 miles have 30 days. Private party lemon laws are different from dealer ones as well. So, as I said before, best to do a google seach for "(your state here) Lemon Laws" and proceed from there.

Lemon Laws applies to new cars. If you bought a used car, if it was a lemon, by law, they are not allow to sell you a car that was declared a lemon. That will tell you in the carfax report if you did run a carfax on the VIN. Additionally, Lemon Law varies state by state basis.

Can't trust Carfax. I ran a report on my old civic. Said it was accident free. A truck backed into me. Got police report and had to take my car in to get it repaired.

My friend's car. Had to take it in 5 times so far for coolant leak. Bought it used from that dealership with extended warranty.
